Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)

The ACA is a leading business and finance qualification from ICAEW and is your first step to becoming a chartered accountant. Training as an ACA consists of a combination of examinations, work experience, structured training in ethics and professional development.
You will be employed by an ICAEW Authorised Training Employer (ATE) whilst pursuing the prestigious ACA qualification. Some of our ATEs in Malaysia include Bursa Malaysia, Petronas, Genting Group and top audit firms.
As a member of the ICAEW, you have the privilege of calling yourself a chartered accountant and use the globally respected designatory ‘ACA’ after your name. The ACA highlights the quality of your achievements to colleagues, clients and employers.
It represents one of the world’s most highly-respected business qualifications and symbolises your technical excellence and professionalism.
As a world leading professional accountancy body, ICAEW provides leadership and practical support to over 136,000 members in more than 160 countries, working with governments, regulators and industry in order to ensure the highest standards are maintained. There are over 1,800 members in the South East Asia alone, with the majority living in Malaysia and Singapore.
Our members provide financial knowledge and guidance based on the highest technical and ethical standards. They are trained to challenge people and organisations to think and act differently, to provide clarity and rigour, and so help create and sustain prosperity. The ICAEW ensures these skills are constantly developed, recognised and valued.
Because of us, people can do business with confidence.
The ICAEW is a founding member of the Global Accounting Alliance with over 775,000 members worldwide.
